Job Description :
Our Client are a large international-scale engineering/energy business in Essex. Due to expansion they require a Product Development Manager with experience in the cable laying/offshore construction/subsea construction field.

You will ideally hold an Honours degree in an Engineering subject and PMI Certificate or equivalents.

You will have some or all of the following experience;
Significant experience in a product development role.
Exposure to successfully winning key contracts.
A proven track record in developing holistic technical solutions in relation to market requirements and customer challenges.
Experienced in developing and selling technical concepts

Responsibilities will include;
Deliver Customer satisfaction by exceeding expectations
Deliver winning conceptual technical solutions in a timely manner.
Development of technical relationships both internally and externally with client engineering team and suppliers
Best in class market solutions
Clear communication of product road map pre and post contract award
Effective and efficient cross functional working relationships
Effective product refinement
Effective post contract follow up and information gathering
Reduction in re work, errors and repeated mistakes. Implement lessons learnt.
Mentoring, support and development of product delivery teams
Effective leadership and performance management across product delivery provision
Functional budget control
