    Secondary SENCO – Hackney, East London – April/September 2012

    Are you a trained SENCO or have you have experience in a nurture group role supporting students with special educational needs and behavioural issues?

    Are you looking for a new post from September on a temporary to permanent position where you will get the chance to have a real look at the school before fully committing?

    ***SENCO/Nurture Group Teacher
    ***Well run unit located in a mainstream secondary school in Hackney, East London
    ***Temporary to permanent position – MPS/UPS salary
    ***Small group of KS3 students

    Due to a late resignation this well run and vibrant community Academy based in Hackney, East London requires a SENCO/ Nurture Group teacher to join on a temporary to permanent contract from either April or September.

    The students in this unit all have individual special educational needs and behavioural issues. The current post holder has been with the students for the past three years and the unit is well run, calm and the students have made excellent progress.

    The post will require someone who has experience dealing with low achievers, behavioural difficulties and special educational needs including dyslexia and autism. You will need to be highly confident and have excellent skills that keep the students interested in learning and making progress.
