Job Description :
Working for a major player in the IT Software market this is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic organisation at an exciting period in their development
The focus of the HRBP is to enable and mature managers to become self-sufficient in employee related matters and to support all UK based managers whether global, regional or local on people issues
The successful applicant will be of graduate calibre with a background of business consulting and HR, combined with a strong understanding of technology companies
Accountabilities
* Provides 1:1 consulting on core HR processes to managers from all Business Areas
* Follow up to ensure that HR processes are executed in alignment with expectations
* Execute board area initiated programs for the local organisation
* Provide counselling and support to managers from all board areas on the handling of disciplinary cases, grievances and stress management
* Provide coaching when needed, e.g. on behavioural changes, conflict resolution, the usage of Shared Service and the Corporate Portal
* Work with and ensure compliance with data quality guidelines and policies developed by HR Ops
* Manage and administer vacancies in connection with recruitment activities
* Represent HR towards all locally residing managers
* Enables manager from all board areas to run ESS workshops and follow-up
* Responsible for employee assistance in those exceptional cases where HR Direct or own Manager cannot support, e.g. leave of absence consulting and issues with own Manager
* Represent business locally in union / works council activities
* Responsible for compliance issues, auditing and governance
* Subject matter expert in legal topics and provide guidance and counselling within areas such as employment contract negotiation and interpretation, labour law issues, dispute resolution and involuntary terminations (incl. the preparation of severance packages)
* Responsible for local policy development, administration and communication, i.e. in those cases where a local policy is needed which is not yet standard in Platform
* Drive the coordination of the local on-boarding activities
