Job Description :
An international, multidisciplinary consultancy are urgently seeking a geotechnical design consultant in Middlesbrough. This is an excellent opportunity to progress a career in a prestigious organisation whilst working on a range of detailed design projects.
Working amongst experienced geotechnical, structural and civil engineers the successful candidate will provide technical expertise on a range of highways and flood defence projects.
We are seeking an experienced design engineer who can demonstrate technical expertise in the following areas:
- Foundation design
- Retaining wall and gravity embedded wall design
- Earthworks design
- Detailed report writing and interpretation
Applicants must have a first class academic background including a BEng/MEng Civil Engineering ideally with a further qualification in Geotechnical/Structural Engineering.
The position offers a competitive salary together with bonuses such as a private health care scheme, contributory pension, life insurance and a personal development scheme.
