Temporary Marketing Assistant - Reading Berkshire
Workmates & Daniel Owen is a fast expanding and progressive recruitment business. We have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Assistant within our business. The role has the potential to become a permanent position in the future for the right person.
The placement would be ideal for those seeking a career within marketing & communications and would ideally suit recent graduates of Marketing, Communications and related Business Management degrees, however all applicants will be considered.
The company is evolving quickly and we see some real opportunities in the market - you will be joining a team that has an exciting role to play in the future success of the company
Primarily you will be in control of market research and development. This would involve growing and managing the rapidly expanding database of clients and candidates by contacting companies and individuals on the telephone. You will also have the opportunity to further develop the existing digital media campaign and understand the importance of different marketing tactics used to promote the company.
We are looking for an individual who has:
* excellent verbal communication skills
* a good grasp of MS Office
* great research skills
* a thirst for knowledge and an open mind
* the ability to think on their feet and take initiative
* drive and ambition
You have the potential to gain a lot from this placement, learning about the different methods of winning business opportunities but also getting an all-round education and understanding of the key elements of running a successful business and specifically the marketing activities involved.
Should this role become permanent, Workmates are pleased to be able to provide sponsorship for individuals to complete their CIM (Chartered Institute of Marketing) qualifications - following completion of our initial probationary period.
