Job Description :
SALES ACCOUNT MANAGER
BASED IN REDHILL, SURREY
******Marine or defence background essential******
The Account Manager is responsible for inbound and/or outbound sales calls directly from/to prospective and/or existing customers.
Effectively builds rapport with customers by probing for needs and recommending appropriate solutions.
Achieves monthly, quarterly, and annual sales objectives, whilst ensuring the optimum customer experience and satisfaction by following established processes and procedures.
General Job Duties:
*Schedules activity around review calls, renewal calls and customer queries
*Maintains contact with existing customers to ensure a strong level of customer care routine is established and maintained
*Initiates and answers sales calls for products and services
*Outbound calls for new business opportunities where required.
*Accepts orders, closes sales, maintains customers records and completes required documentation
*Conducts telephone conversations to identify and qualify prospective customers and records sales prospecting activity in computer based tracking system
*Desk based telephone sales
*Some occasional site visits
*Carries out account review calls at regular intervals where required
*Carries out renewal calls where required
*Ensures customer delight
*Maximises revenue and customer satisfaction within assigned territories
Specific Job Duties:
*Grows licensing
*Cross and up selling
*Grows revenue
*Generates referrals and new business
Required Experience:
*Strong oral and written communication skills.
*Achieves daily call and demo metrics
*Forecasts accurately and grows pipeline which will include upgrade orders
*Previous sales experience
*Good organisational skills.
*Project management
*Must be able to handle multiple projects at one time and get work completed in a timely manner.
*Experience working with distributors and agents would be preferred
