Business Development Manager - £35k-£40k - IT Maintenance Services

Slough, Berkshire

Penguin Recruitment Ltd is proud to announce we are currently recruiting for the UK's leading provider of outsourced IT Services including Maintenance Contracts, Managed Services, IT Support and Consultancy. Boasting high-end business relationships with large technology partners including VM Ware, Symantec, NetApp, Microsoft, HP, Cisco, and EMC2, they have secured loyal and long-lasting agreements with a client base of over 1000 end-users and 100s of Reseller and System Integrator partners.

Our client is now seeking 1x Business Development Manager to add to their new business sales team as part of continual growth plans for the organisation. The Business Development Manager will divide their time between building a business pipeline from scratch internally, and then moving field-based on client-sites to deliver the necessary solutions. The Business Development Manager will enjoy working to a two-way channel, selling direct to the end-user based around their current infrastructure or recruiting Reseller and Systems Integrator partners to upsell or cross-sell alongside. It is essential that the Business Development Manager has good understanding and experience in regards to Maintenance Services and associated solutions and shares the company's ethos of quality (of service) over quantity (price).

To apply candidates should ideally be working in a similar position within a large reseller, systems integrator or IT service provider in addition to:
*3-5 years sales experience selling IT Solutions or Services
*Proven track record of selling IT Maintenance Contracts/Services based around IT Hardware or Software
*Experience of working within field sales and being client-facing
*Full UK driving license
*Commutable distance of Slough, Berkshire (30 miles)
*Proven track record in new business sales
*Consultative sales approach and experience

Business Development Managers will offered a hugely competitive package including:
*Base Salary of £35000-£40000
*OTE of £60000-£80000 (Uncapped)
