Position: Project Manager (After Sales Support)
Location: Staffordshire
Salary: £30,000 - £40,000
The Background…
A division of a world leader in the defence sector is looking for a Project Manager to join their expanding team in Staffordshire to have responsibility for the coordination of assigned project management activity, taking a lead in bid activity for After Sales Support.
The Role…
As a Project Manager, your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to the following:
-Management responsibility for the execution of projects for the department.
-Prioritisation, co-ordination and planning for project portfolio activities.
-Supplying accurate cost and schedule information in the preparation of bids.
-Successfully managing all customer interfaces and ensuring communication lines are identified.
You …
You'll be of a similar working background with a proven track record of relevant experience, ideally within a Defence, Rail or Naval Industry.
You'll have full project lifecycle experience
You'll have knowledge & experience with Project Management tools and a working knowledge of IFS or an equivalent system would certainly hold you in good stead.
A background with a focus on systems engineering and integration is highly desirable.
Please note that routine UK and occasional overseas travel will be required with this position.
