Job Description :
This luxurious establishment, located in a beautiful setting requires an experienced Chef De Partie. It is within the busy main restaurant that an experienced Chef de Partie is required to run their own section. A team player, the successful candidate will be dedicated and maintain producing cuisine to high standard in an extremely fast environment. Offering a novel approach to cuisine, the menu is delicious, yet simple and proves to be a popular combination with diners. Your duties will include: Aiding the Head Chef in the day to day running of the kitchen Informing senior chefs of ordering requirements Carrying out stock checks Ensuring the correct standards are in place and if not, to redirect and control. Training of the junior chefs Up keeping the high standards that are already in place Input in to menu planning Reporting to the Head Chef Benefits include: Competitive Salary Excellent opportunities for career development Small, stable team Qualifications/ Experience required: Previous experience in a establishment that was accredited with Rosettes or was Michelin listed, this position would suit a Sous Chef looking for their first Head Chef position. Must have NVQ level 1&2 or equivalent and a full understanding of food safety and hygiene. Applicants must be well presented and have strong leadership skills. It is also necessary that all applicants have a stable CV with excellent references. In line with the requirements of the Asylum & Immigration Act 1996, all applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
