Rosette standard pastry chef sought by this property in West Sussex
This friendly hotel is full of character and style and prides itself on offering high quality service. The hotel is popular with both business and leisure guests as well as wedding ceremonies and receptions. The excellent restaurant serves Great British Food at rosette level and is currently looking to recruit a Pastry Chef to lead this department.
Duties of the Pastry Chef will include:
•Maintaining the excellent standards of this kitchen and establishment
•Working effectively as a key part of the restaurant team
•Preparing pastry, bread and desserts as the business requires
•Working with other section chefs to ensure a smooth service and constantly high results
•Developing the pastry section alongside the Head Chef : creating excellent dishes to enhance and complement the rest of the menu
The working pattern for this Pastry Chef position will be five days out of seven as the business requires. Reporting to the Head Chef.
You must be a highly skilled and confident pastry chef, with an excellent career history in a rosette property. Only candidates of an appropriate calibre will be considered. Maintaining and driving the highest of standards, you will have autonomy over the pastry section, reporting directly to the head chef.
