This exceptional award winning manor house hotel located in Wiltshire are currently looking to recruit a Commis Chef to strengthen and develop their existing brigade. The hotel is family orientated and is a popular wedding venue with the ability to cater for over 60 guests in their award winning restaurant and over 100 people in there conference and banqueting facilities.

Our clients are looking to recruit an enthusiastic individual to assist as CommisChefin the smooth running of the kitchen. You will be required to work 5 days over 7 as required. You will have the willingness to learn, you will be preparing food and basic cooking, under the supervision of the more experienced chefs. As Commis CHhefou will also be responsible for maintaining high standards of hygiene, handling deliveries and stock rotation. This is a very demanding kitchen environment as all the food is freshly prepared using fresh and seasonal produce and produce direct from the kitchen’s own garden.

Qualifications/ Experience required for Commis Chef:

All applicants should have previous experience of working in a similar quality 2 rosette accredited environment and have a passion for producing cuisine of the highest standards. You will also have NVQ Level 1 and 2 qualifications or equivalent and a food hygiene certificate.
